A captivating piece of Chinese ceramic artistry, this hand-painted porcelain tea cup features a classic "Scholar in Landscape" motif. The exterior depicts a figure in traditional robes set against a minimalist landscape, rendered in a deep cobalt blue with accents of underglaze red/copper. The interior well features a stylized floral or abstract "lingzhi" fungus motif, common in pieces intended to wish the user longevity and wisdom.
